BAM! is not easy to define.

People arrive at BAM! by bike, sleep in tents inside a centuries-old Villa, listen to stories, meet people and share ideas. But above all, whether you are a traveler, an artisan, a brand or simply someone looking for inspiration, when you arrive at BAM! you bring something of your own.

To leave it to others.
And to return home with something someone else left to you.

That is also why every year we imagine workshops and interactive moments: real spaces where people can learn, exchange ideas, create and share useful experiences.

Below you will find a first glimpse of the workshops that will come to life during BAM! 2026.

Giving things a second life – Ferrino

A workshop dedicated to creative reuse and practical sustainability.

With Ferrino Re-Life, an open laboratory will take shape where materials coming from tents and outdoor equipment will be transformed into new objects through upcycling practices.

Participants will be able to choose materials, cut them, work on them together with Ferrino’s sewing team and help create unique pieces born from products that have already lived many adventures.

During BAM! it will also be possible to receive technical evaluations and assistance for Ferrino products, with the opportunity to entrust repairs to the brand’s specialized workshop.

Because sometimes gear deserves a new journey too.

Measuring pressure, improving comfort – Selle San Marco

A moment dedicated to saddle pressure analysis and the search for the right balance with Selle San Marco.
Between comfort, efficiency and performance.

With the idmatch Pressure Map system, it will be possible to observe and analyze pressure distribution in both static and dynamic conditions, collecting useful data to better understand your bike setup.

Through the integrated idmatch system, participants will discover how small position changes can influence comfort and ride quality.

Because sometimes just a few millimeters can completely change a journey.

Telling bike travel stories through photography – Cicloreporter

A practical workshop dedicated to anyone who wants to learn how to tell bike travel stories through images, storytelling and reportage.

There will be talks about gear, workflow management, photographic composition and post production, but above all about how to turn a bike ride, epic or everyday, into an authentic visual story.

How do you carry a camera without destroying yourself?
What equipment should you choose without spending a fortune?
How do you take good photos even in places that are not spectacular?
And why does a photo often fail to give back what we truly experienced?

Between technique, anecdotes, inspiration and behind-the-scenes stories, this will be an open moment for anyone who wants to better understand how images can become memory, storytelling and sharing.

Creativity, recycling and cycling culture – Selle Royal

A workshop where customization and sustainability meet.

Together with Selle Royal, participants will discover Stracciatella, the recycling technology developed by the brand, and give new life to their gear through prints, illustrations and creative customizations.

You will be able to bring an old T-shirt to transform with heat prints, color artworks inspired by the cycling world or personalize bottles, cycling computers, helmets and everyday objects with stickers and graphic details.

First aid for people traveling by bike – Niccolò Varanini

A workshop created to address a part of traveling that people rarely talk about, but that can truly make a difference: unexpected situations.

Falls, wounds, small accidents and situations we hope never happen, but that are worth learning how to handle properly.

Together with Nicolò Varanini, participants will talk about first aid applied to bikepacking and bicycle travel through practical examples, real situations and useful tools to carry during an adventure.

Because the freedom of traveling also comes from being prepared.

People will gather around a first aid kit.

And probably around a few stories that really happened too.

Understanding what happens between body and saddle – Bike Boobs with SMP

A workshop dedicated to cycling comfort, wellbeing and body awareness.

Together with Selle SMP, BikeBoobs and physiotherapist and bike fitter Paola Paonessa, participants will talk about posture, pressure, saddle pain and everything that is often normalized by people who ride bikes.

Because pain may be common.
But that does not mean it should be normal.

During the workshop there will be discussions about the pelvic floor, choosing the right saddle, bike position and all those small details that can radically change the riding experience.

A workshop dedicated to one of the most important parts of a traveling bike: the wheels.

During the workshop there will be discussions about preparation, checks and maintenance, to better understand how to leave with more peace of mind and reduce the risk of problems along the road.

Participants will explore essential pre-departure checks, the spare parts that are actually useful to carry and the precautions needed during a trip to keep wheels efficient and reliable.

At the same time, a wheel will be built from scratch, offering a live look at tools, procedures and technical details that often remain invisible to people who ride every day.

Through practical examples, tricks and advice developed from assembling thousands of wheels, the workshop will show how to handle small checks and repairs in a simple, effective way and without fear of getting your hands dirty.

Under 35 kg: how to prepare a travel bike for a round-the-world trip – Dino Lanzaretti

A workshop dedicated to anyone dreaming of long bicycle journeys without turning every climb into a battle against weight.

Together with Dino Lanzaretti, participants will talk about how to build an efficient, reliable exploration bike ready to face long distances, searching for the right balance between autonomy, simplicity and comfort.

From choosing equipment to distributing loads, the workshop will practically address everything that is truly needed during a journey: what to bring, what to leave at home and how to avoid overloading both the bike and the experience itself.

A moment designed for those preparing major departures, dreaming about a round-the-world trip or simply wanting to learn how to travel in a lighter, more conscious and effective way.

Riding outside the lines – LeVie and ALI with Elite

A creative workshop where art, outdoor culture and inclusion truly meet.

Together with LeVie, Elite and ALI, participants will be able to customize cycling bottles, transforming them into unique objects made of colors, stories and freedom of expression.

During the workshop people will draw, experiment and work side by side with young people from a Day Center, in a creative moment about possibilities, collaboration and new paths to ride together.

Nature in your pocket: tools to recognize species – Betula

A workshop dedicated to anyone who, during a trip or a simple ride, has stopped at least once wondering about the name of a flower, a plant or a sound in the woods.

Through a practical and accessible approach, the workshop will provide the basic tools needed to observe and recognize the species we encounter along the way, transforming every ride into a small naturalistic exploration.

There will be discussions about classification, how to use traditional guides and digital tools, and which apps can help identify plants, flowers, trees and animals directly in the field.

Komoot for dummies – Komoot

A workshop dedicated to people who already use komoot and want to learn how to use it in a more conscious, practical and effective way during their trips and bike rides.

Together with the komoot team, participants will explore features, tools and small tricks useful for planning better routes, managing tracks, organizing stages and discovering new possibilities for adventure.

During the workshop there will also be a closer look at the platform’s newest features, through practical examples designed for people who use bicycles to travel, explore or simply lose the right road from time to time.

Understanding weather to live the outdoors better – Heavy Water Academy

A workshop dedicated to anyone who spends time outdoors and wants to learn how to read the weather in a simpler, more practical and conscious way.

Together with Giordano, surfer, geologist and teacher at Heavy Water Academy, participants will talk about wind, clouds, weather fronts and atmospheric conditions, trying to understand how to interpret weather signals before and during a journey or outdoor experience.

From waves to mountains, the workshop will provide useful tools to observe weather with different eyes and make better decisions during outdoor activities, bike travels and explorations.

Because sometimes understanding the sky also means traveling with more freedom.

Wild emancipation workshop – Laura Cappellaro

A creative workshop imagined as a free space for expression, imagination and small gestures to carry home with you.

Together with Laura Cappellaro, participants will be able to create a pin with a phrase representing their own way of being in the world or let themselves be guided through drawing, creating small portraits and images with materials, colors and words.

The workshop will guide participants step by step, with no need to know how to draw or have previous experience: only the desire to experiment, play and let something personal emerge.
