When journeys stay on your skin

There are journeys that end when you come back home.
And then there are the ones that somehow stay with you.

Over the years we’ve seen thousands of people arrive at BAM! with dusty bicycles, worn-out bags, sunburnt knees and tattoos telling stories of roads, encounters, mountains, people, mistakes and freedom.

Because sometimes a journey, sooner or later, becomes a tattoo too.
A small and personal symbol. A date. A bicycle. A geographic coordinate. A sentence found somewhere along the road. Or something that only a few people can truly understand.

That’s why a collaboration with Padova InkShow felt completely natural to us. A new and different event connected to contemporary tattoo culture, whose first edition will take place in Padova from November 27 to 29.

On Saturday, June 6, during BAM!, InkShow will host a photographic booth dedicated to travelers’ tattoos: a small archive of stories engraved on skin, collected through portraits and details speaking about departures, roads and identity.
A collective gallery built through the marks every person carries with them.

But that’s not all.

For the occasion, two outstanding Italian tattoo artists, Marco Galdo and Alex Toniato, will work live on a selection of Selle San Marco saddles, transforming them into unique pieces through drawings, engravings and customizations created during the event. Participants will also be able to bring their own leather saddle and make it one of a kind.

A meeting between tattoo culture and bikepacking that we truly love because it tells something we constantly see at BAM!: the desire to personalize the things that accompany our journeys.

Every journey leaves a mark.
