The program for BAM! 2026

The full program will be online in a few days.
But since many of you keep writing to ask what’s going to happen at BAM!, we can already say one thing: once again, it will be very hard to stand still.

The program is taking that slightly chaotic and beautiful shape you probably already know: travelers crossing continents, workshops of every kind, concerts, sunrise rides, films powered by bicycles and people arriving for a weekend who somehow leave questioning how they want to live.

At BAM!, the bicycle is not the center of everything.
It’s the excuse. And we like it that way.

This year’s edition will once again bring together an increasingly international mix of travelers, adventurers, photographers, climbers, filmmakers and people who simply believe there are still meaningful ways to move through the world slowly.

On stage, Monica Consolini will tell the story of her two-year solo ride around the world, Pietro Franzese will bring his raw and direct way of living travel, while Dino Lanzaretti will once again share his unique perspective shaped by years on the road. Matteo Stella will retrace his journey from Beijing to Venice following the routes of Marco Polo.

There will also be Mattia De Marchi, Giacomo Turco from Human Bikepacking with stories from Africa, Willy and Tiziano Mulonia with a journey that starts in the Alaskan winter and turns into a story about brotherhood, Claudio Piani presenting his latest documentary, Max Riese with a project exploring Austrian rivers and lakes, and Niccolò Varanini bringing tales from Ladakh and the strange things that happen when you ride at extreme altitude.

Among the international guests will also be Nelson Trees, one of the organizers behind some of the world’s most important bikepacking events, alongside Sami Sauri. And, as a last-minute surprise, the wonderful Sofiane Sehili will also join BAM!.

But BAM! has never been only about bicycle travel.

Climbers Giovanni Zaccaria and Alessandro Ferrari will talk about what it means to attempt Cerro Torre at sixty years old, while collectives such as Bike Boobs and VaiGine will host conversations and activities focused on female empowerment and travel as a space of freedom and self-discovery.

Alongside the talks, there will be workshops dedicated to weather forecasting, photography and storytelling with Edoardo Frezet and Marco Rimondi, first aid during bike travel with Niccolò Varanini, road safety discussions with the Michele Scarponi Foundation and nature-focused experiences with the Betula collective.

And then there are the rides.
A huge number of rides.

Fast rides, slow rides, social rides, photography rides, Brompton rides with Bromscape, herbal rides with Giulio Officinalis and Elite, gravel rides, off-road rides, exploratory rides into the surrounding countryside and many others still being imagined.

Some rides will officially depart from the festival grounds. Others will simply happen because two people meet in front of a tent at midnight and decide to pedal together the next morning.

That’s usually how BAM! works.

And since the days never seem long enough, nights matter too.

On Saturday night, the main stage will host a special concert featuring DJ Aladyn together with Saturnino for a night of funk, groove, DJ sets and dancing under the stars. Across the festival there will also be live music, open-air DJ sets and the atmosphere that over the years has transformed BAM! into something that continues long after sunset.

The pedal-powered Ciclocinema will return too, alongside yoga sessions with Francesca Oliva, Andrea Loreni and his reflections on balance and space, BAM! Ragazzi dedicated to children and families, camping life and that strange feeling where, at some point, you stop understanding whether you are at a festival, on a journey, or inside a giant gathering of people who still believe the world is better discovered slowly.
