Primo Levi recounts this in The Periodic System, and they are words we cannot help but carry with us always.
After all, if we want to find a reason why, on a bike, on foot, on skis, in a canoe or with tied to a rope we get into trouble, it is this: “to be strong and free, free even to make mistakes.“
We are four months away from BAM! and we are working to make it, as always, a special occasion.
But in order for BAM! to be again that magic that brings us together again, it is you who have to put that will into it, in which case that of going the wrong way.
So, start thinking about your “ROAD TO BAM!” and put in it a reason to stretch, to make mistakes, to get excited, maybe even swear.
Let it be an unnecessary climb except to say goodbye to a friend, a road taken to go swimming in a lake, a day spent going to sleep under a beautiful tree, or what makes you feel “free and strong.”
Exactly this will make your BAM special!
