When people ask us what BAM! is, beyond the ready-made answers, the marketing, and the rhymes, we always say that BAM! is made up of people who take their bikes and, starting from home or from much further away, pedal to Villa Contarini, sometimes with a friend or friends, but always with a story to share.
Every year we see the most wonderful madmen cross Italy or Europe, sometimes for weeks, to share a rare passion: travel, wrong turns, the essence of life, or just a frozen beer (which maybe are the same thing).
For the twelfth edition, this is our little secular gospel: the twelve apostolic rules of the ROAD TO BAM! 2026.

Never take the shortest route.
Because the right path, almost always, is the one that takes you further.

Choose a path you don't know at all.
Surprise is part of the journey.

Look for water.
A lake, a river, a secluded beach. Stop, take a dip, set off again.

Recognize ancient trees.
And if it comes naturally to you, hug one.

Don't fear climbs.
Going slowly, even the longest ones are manageable. And at the top, you'll feel incredibly good.

Don't always pedal alone (unless you really like it that way).
Convincing at least one friend is already part of the journey. Unlike the Iscariot, they won't betray you.

Leave room for chance.
Not everything has to be planned.

Take the wrong turn with conviction.
Detours are the heart of the best stories.

Take your time.
You're not arriving: you're living.

Accept the effort.
The soreness passes, like everything else.

Remember why you started.
Not to arrive, but to feel.
