Info e FAQ

GENERAL INFO AND FAQ: the basic information and frequently asked questions you might not have realized you needed, but we still ask you to read and internalize.

This year (and hopefully in the coming years), the splendid location hosting us undoubtedly brings us great prestige. But with great locations comes great responsibility.

On this page, we've collected some useful information that we ask you to read and keep in mind when you're there with us.

Use Komoot, ask the community for information; you might even find new travel companions!

If you don’t feel like cycling all the way, you can take the train and then ride a bit: there are several options, and almost all of them are cycle-friendly.

There’s the Treviso-Ostiglia route, easy and safe, which runs right next to Villa Contarini.

If you’re coming from the lagoon’s salt marshes, follow the Sile. This way, you’ll always be on the cycle path and ride around 70 km. But of course, you can choose to start before Treviso.

You can start from Bassano and take the Muson dei Sassi route, which at some point intersects with the Treviso-Ostiglia.

If you’re coming from the West, head down to Vicenza and first head south, towards the Colli Berici, then continue towards the Colli Euganei, where at some point you’ll intersect with the Treviso Ostiglia route.

If you’re cycling from the south, follow the Euganean Hills—either on flat terrain or by taking on some climbs!

Thanks to the Green Tour Verde in movimento project, you can find 600 km of trails in Veneto.

If you’re coming by car (obviously the least recommended option): enter “Villa Contarini Camerini – Piazzola Sul Brenta” on Google Maps.

Villa Contarini has some “neighbors.”

At a certain hour, silence is mandatory.

So no music, no shouting—you can keep chatting, but in a low voice.

This will take effect from 1:00 AM.

Camp area in the Villa Contarini park

The camp area inside Villa Contarini is a truly unique experience.
You can sleep in a monumental park, among lakes and ancient trees, and wake up already immersed in the festival atmosphere.

Already have your tent? Great, bring it with you and choose your own spot on the lawn.

Prefer to travel light? Pre-arranged tents are also available, ready to welcome you upon arrival.

You can find everything here!

Camper area

Traveling on four wheels? No problem: we have a dedicated camper area just 3 minutes from the event, convenient and easy to reach.

Via dei Belludi, 13 A/int. 435016 Piazzola sul Brenta (PD) – Area adjacent to the Alì supermarket.

Together with the Municipality of Piazzola sul Brenta, we have designated an area for those arriving by camper:
you can find it HERE.

It is not inside the Villa Contarini Park, but it is located in a nearby and convenient area.

The parking fee is €3 per day, payable to the Municipality of Piazzola.

BAM! is a free event..

You can arrive whenever you want, listen to travel stories, explore the exhibitors’ offerings in our Village, stop, leave, come back, grab a bite, have a beer, chat, join a workshop, and simply enjoy yourself.

If you want to experience the unique opportunity of sleeping in the park of a historic villa, the cost is €25 for both nights. More info and registration HERE.

Furry friends are welcome, but they must always be kept on a leash.

Remember to bring bags to clean up after them, and let’s always keep in mind that we are in a historic park.

Smoking is harmful. And we’ve been told that it’s prohibited in all outdoor areas of Villa Contarini, including where BAM will take place.
So, if we really can’t do without a cigarette, let’s try to smoke it in the square, in front of the Villa. And in any case, let’s make sure not to leave any trace behind.

The Park of Villa Contarini is a wonderful place that must be handled with care.

Be mindful not to damage the trees, objects, statues, animals, grass, or anything else on-site.

Lighting fires anywhere in the event area and bringing glass bottles or containers is strictly prohibited.

Please park your bikes in the designated areas (not next to statues, trees, monuments, or other structures). If you see a particularly beautiful flower, don’t pick it—it’s part of a protected ecosystem. In short, imagine yourself as an elephant in a china shop 😉

Yes, there’s a lake in the park. But it’s not safe for swimming, and it’s dangerous.

Let’s admire it, take photos of it, walk around it — but swimming is strictly forbidden.

This year, more than ever, we’re committed to a proper waste sorting system. We will set up a recycling station (we’ll point out its location on-site) and place bins throughout the event area. So, when you dispose of your waste, please pay attention to the signs to easily identify where each item goes.

Certainly, there will be a charging station for electric bikes.
