BAM!, the big European gathering for bicycle travelers, will be in September.

From 25 to 27, in Mantua, in front of the lakes, travelers from all over Italy and beyond will meet. 

Three days of music, meetings, rides, workshops to return to live outdoor and dream about the next travel.

BAM!, the European gathering of bicycle travelers, will be in September, from Friday 25 to Sunday 27, in Mantua, in the large park facing the lakes and medieval walls. An outdoor event that will also be a symbolic moment to return to live your passion all together and to help the cycling world to start again. Registrations already made remain valid for new dates. 

The sixth edition of the BAM! arrives in a year when the world has been shocked by the Corona Virus: the bicycle, as a vehicle for tourism, becomes even more important to imagine a new life. The event will take place with the traditional formula and all necessary initiatives will be taken and suggested by the competent authorities to avoid any health risk. 

The uniqueness of BAM!, which is the biggest event in Europe dedicated to bike travelling, is the informal and fun spirit, which brings together the great traveler and families, those who love to go far and people who use the bike to travel even just a few kilometers from home. What matters is the spirit, the desire to discover. 

The theme of the sixth edition is “freedom”: to leave, to return, not to return for a while, to change life, and simply to be yourself – whatever that means. 

Most BAM travelers will arrive in Mantua by bicycle, in the spirit of the event, forming spontaneous groups along the way. 

The city of Mantua, a UNESCO heritage site, will host the meeting in an extraordinary location, on the Lungolago Gonzaga, in front of the lakes and the medieval walls: a precious opportunity to enhance a territory that is investing heavily in cycling and “green mobility”. The large camping area, where travelers can pitch their tent, will be on the other side of the lake, with a unique view of the city. 

BAM! was born first of all as a meeting for those who love to travel by bike, but it has also become an important moment also for associations, local administrations and bike brands, that to the village of BAM! bring their products, like bags, bicycles, super-light tents, clothing and everything necessary to go far bike bike. 

At BAM! the bicycle is more than just a bike; it’s a path to discover the world, meet new people and live experiences.
