From June 7th to 9th, BAM! is back
Because “the air sings like a guitar”
We have the dates:
🦚 BAM! 2025 will be from June 6th to 8th 🦚
As many of you have guessed,
👉 we will no longer be in our beloved Mantua,
which has hosted your joy for 5 editions,
through sunshine, rain, blue skies, and sunsets over the lake 🌅
Before announcing the new location,
we still have a few formal steps to take: 👮♀️
just know that it’s one of the most beautiful places in Italy,
🌳 that we’ll be in a magnificent ancient park, and
that you can get there by cycling along perfect bike paths from all over Italy.
❗ So, save the date, ❗
take time off, quit your job,
let your husband or wife know,
create an alibi, a plan B, a diversion,
cancel all your commitments for those days,
postpone weddings and baptisms (funerals are a bit trickier),
and, most importantly,
call your right friend and plan a trip to get to BAM! 🚵♀️🚵🚵♀️🚵
💥 There will be many new things 💥
❤️
You only live once
and
sometimes by mid-afternoon, you’re already bored out of your mind,
so don’t hesitate.
❤️

This summer we traveled by bike,
just like many of you.
Neruda, in one of his wonderful poems,
talks about happiness and writes:
(…)
I am vaster
than the grass
in the prairies,
I feel my skin like a wrinkled tree,
and the water below,
the birds above,
the sea like a ring
around my life,
made of bread and stone the earth,
the air sings like a guitar.
(…)
Isn’t that what we experience on the road,
when we are wind,
we are trees,
we are sky and rain,
we are dust and joy?
This is what I brought home from my trip:
while cycling, you forget about being limited,
incomplete, missing, inadequate, and always late for life,
and we simply are,
we breathe:
“vaster than the grass in the prairies”
and “the air sings like a guitar.”
Life can also be beautiful,
and we all have a simple tool to help make it so:
the bicycle.
See you at the next BAM!,
like maritime pines.
