For our tenth edition, we dreamed big, or perhaps it’s better to say we looked up. And that’s how we found our very first guest: Andrea Loreni, the only Italian tightrope walker specialized in high-altitude crossings.

But you might wonder, what does a tightrope walker have to do with cycling? Obviously, it’s all about balance.
For us cycle travelers, it’s surely the balance of the bicycle, what we need to go far, to stay calm under the rain while pedaling, to keep steady when we take wrong turns, or when we simply decide to stay.

Andrea has traveled kilometers on a cable stretched across the skies of numerous cities (both Italian and foreign), embarking on a journey of exploration where he combines Zen and tightrope walking as privileged pathways to authenticity.
And after years of walking on the wire and Zen meditation, he decided to share his experiences and reflections through motivational talks, theoretical and experiential workshops on managing imbalance and change, embracing fear and risk, and efficiency under pressure.

For our tenth edition, we’ve made and wanted to offer you a double gift: a tightrope walking workshop and a truly unique talk.

– Under the trees at the far end (where Kona was last year) at 5:00 PM for his workshop on balance.
